Hi,
We have a huge cluster of about 1000 QMgrs with 2 full repository boxes. The other day we noticed a peculier prob - one of the MQ processes was killed unintentionally which generated an FDC file in the process (this was revealed later).
The QMgr suddenly lost all memory about the cluster - access to the cluster queues was giving error 2189.
The QMgr itself was shutdown and started again - it comes up but still has no knowledge about the cluster queues which it had prior to the above incident. The QMgr has cluster-sender chls defined to each of the full-repo boxes (though only one should suffice) and the chls were started and in RUNNING state. Running the apps which access the cluster queues would again come back with rc=2189 - cluster-resolution-error. Issuing "refresh cluster" on the errant QMgr didnt help. Finally the QMgr was deleted from the cluster and readded back when it started discovering the cluster queues. Does any one have a similar experience - if yes how did you address it? I would like to know if there is a way to fix this by any other route then deleting and readding the QMgr which is a bit drastic.
Also does anyone know how to use the cluster info dump generated by the util amqrfdm?
