I am having issues converting an incoming message that contains XML data that is longer then the sizie of the element in CFW message sets.

I could use the TRIM function in ESQL to avoid it, but is there a way to tell the MRM parser that it should trim the elements if the content of the elements are to big?

I know that the length property is used for padding the string when it is to short, but is it also used for trimming?

I am using WBIMB (5.0)

Thanks

I don't think automatic trimming is possible. However, I'm using WMQI v2.1; Maybe v5 has a new feature I'm not aware of.

Using v2.1, usually I just use the syntax TRIM and/or SUBSTRING.
