Where can I set the number of how many connections an MQ Client can make to connect to an MQServer?
Is there some attribute in the NTCLIENT.CHANNEL? Or is it at the TCP stanza in the .ini file for a queue manager?
HELP!!! |

I believe it is in QM.INI (except for OS400) In the case of OS400 I believe it is in QMINI.
I am not 100% but I think that a Client channel is simply considered as just another channel by MQ so the MAXCHANNEL figure would be the value to change (the default is 100 I believe). |

This topic has been discussed at various forums and threads and doesnt carry any definitive answer. As far as i know there i no limit for either maxactivechannels or maxchannels other than the OS imposed limits.
Cheers
