HI
i have pb whit channel and queue. Messages are in transmition queue, but channel is inactive. When i trying start channel there is error AMQ4063. Transmision queue connested whit this channel is used by application amqrmppa_nd whit PID, but in OS such process doesn't exist. Only way to run channel is restart qmgr. Just befor that happen in log file i found such entry:

AMQ9604: Channel 'EAI.SERVER.CONN' terminated unexpectedly

EXPLANATION:
The process or thread executing channel 'EAI.SERVER.CONN' is no longer running.
The check process system call returned 545284357 for process 21837.
ACTION:
No immediate action is required because the channel entry has been removed from
the list of running channels. Inform the system administrator who should
examine the operating system procedures to determine why the channel process
has terminated.

PID that is in error message above is that same wich is using transmission queue.

Did someone knows what schell I do ??

  • Use a the channel initiator program (runmqchi) to trigger start your channels. Triggering channels is documented in the Application Programming Guide and the Intercommunication manual.
  • Start the channels from the command line using runmqchl, or the MQSC START CHANNEL command. The userid used to start the channels must not log off.
