and then exported this and imported into runtime using
fmcibie -u admin -p password -i some.fdl -o -t
the first time it imported right, though it did not show me any templates or anything I guess it did not update the runtime database right.
and the other problem is now i am not able to use
fmcibie nor fmcautil. it is saying incorrect password????

In the FDL you imported, there was an UPDATE to ADMIN person object and it has set the password to new.

What makes you believe it imported right. If it imported right then you should see the process templates in the runtime client. If it didn't import right, then you should get an error. It should be either way but not both.

did it damage my configuration.??
What do you mean by this. Do you mean you will have to recreate the configuration? Probably not. But you will have to cleanup the mess I guess.
yes vennela that was the bulls eye when you said that admin was present and got updated.
I tried with new password and all others which i rememeber it is not working.
Now even if I change the password in the buildtime and import it
as you know fmcibie is not working.
is there a way around this or am I talking nonsense
