Hi,
We have a MQClient(on windows 95) box for testing.Programmers doing some work to full fill project requirements.today we have a problem "a required .DLL file MQIC32.DLL,was not found".so even amqsputc or amqsgetc also not working.I saw mqclient/bin,in that we missed that .DLL file.finally i uninstalled mqclient and reinstalled it then ok.
my question is what might be the reason to miss these .DLL files?is this because of abnormal shut down of the system?

The MQIC32.dll is the windows DLL which implements the MQ client. It should be installed as part of the MQ Client install. The only way it can not be found is:
o MQ Client was never installed
o Someone removed the file
o MQ Client was un-installed
Once the file is in place, there is no possibility that it can be "lost" by any kind of a shutdown. It is a DLL and hence read-only, it shouldn't be at all possible to corrupt the file at all. |
