I would use Reference Message option and send the batch file containing all the messages. This way you can avoid the messages on the queue (except offcourse the reference message).

I think the question was misinterpreted..
the queue is not holding all the messages at any time. as soon a message comes
onto the queue.... my program will pull it out. my question was - is it ok to
do like this for a batch size of 3 million or is there any workaround method. And how does this effect the
performance of my MQServer ?
