hi everybody..
I'm stuck in implementing the adapters for JDBC in WMQI broker...need some clearance in basic questions...it wud b great if anyone can clarify me.
* do we need event tables & archive tables for every connector or its same for all the connectors...
* do we need a connector for each message flow, like for an INBOUND flow & OUTBOUND flow from database.
* and lastly my major task, can we configure the adapters such way that it can pull the data from the tables at specific time (like everyday 6 AM)
Thanks in advance

hello!..sanu,
I have a vague understand of JDBC connectors, I may not be accurate, but according to my understanding!!!
* There will be only Event table & Archive table (optional) which has all connectors with a connector_ID for every one.
* a connector is need for every delivery queue. like no matter how many mgs flows u have, till its using the same queue, one connector should be sufficient.
anybody who worked on it...plz do correct me I'm wrong.

you have a lot off configuration possibility: start polling time , stop polling time, polling time
in the Adpater queue you can have different Business Object ( different destination Tables)

Thank you, PSN
Now, I got the concept of Adapters and getting the messages in BO then transforming into XML before putting into MQ queue.
I have small question about this...
like, During a fetch, the connector gets a single record as a single BO, am I right... so, for an example I have a Customer Table which has 5 fields in it. and there are 10 records in it.
so, during the fetch...the connector gets as 10 BO objects and puts in the MQ queue, as what....I mean 10 messages or 1 messages.
Like, my bottom line is...Is it possible to get the 10 records as one single message.
do correct me! if this is not possible.
Thank you PSN |
