Hi,
I work on WINNT.
The problem I am facing is a simple one but I havent been able to krack it in the last few days.
I have a TAG1 containing elements of FIXED length. This tag(and therefore the set of elements) repeats an unspecified number of times till it comes accross a particular delimiter(say some "XYZ"). If only the delimiter appears in the DATA then the tag should not be populated.
To set the property as repeating I made an ELEMENT1 of this TAG1 and set the properties "Repeating" as true and "Min Occurs" as 0.
I again put this element into another TAG2 and set the "Group terminator" property to "XYZ".
I have observed that even when "XYZ" alone appears in the input the TAG1 still gets populated(inspite of specifying Min Occurs as 0). But when "XYZ" appears after some data then the tag gets populated till it comes accross "XYZ"(it is able to recognise the group terminator property).
Any suggestions eagerly awaited.
Regards,
