Does anybode know a way to restart the repository manager (amqrrmfa) on a SUN Solaris machine ? Every once in a while this process seems to terminate without any noticable reason !

Have you looked in the error logs to see if there are relevant messages, including .fdc dumps in /var/mqm/errors? I think it would be better to fix the problem, which should not happen, than restart the process . As far as I know you would need to restart the QM. Being Solaris the problem might be related to shared memory conflicts.
