Hi,
I'm running MQSI v2.0.1 and MQSeries v5.1 on NT. I have defined a message flow that converts fixed format messages to XML. The messaga flow works fine. But on certain occasions when I put a message on the input Q using MMC, the message goes to the failure Q. When I try with the same message, it goes thru' the message flow successfully. I checked the event viewer and it said that the execution group stop. This is when the message went into the failure Q. Another entry in the event viewer says that the execution group started, hence the 2nd attempt was a success.
What actually causes an execution group to stop and why does it throws the message in to the failure Q when it stops!!!!!

| Moepi, it would probably be useful if you could cut/paste and post the list of events from the event viewer that illustrate the messages encountered. This should include all the MQSI V2 events within the same few seconds as the error occurred. I'm afraid there may not be enough information in what youve supplied to provide enough assistance. |
