Hi All,
Recently we have implemented triggerd queues to handle the reply for the message our application sends. Triggering is working fine but few trigger monitor messages are going to dead letter queue. There is no impact as these are trigger monitor message not the reply messages.
Setup:
Trigger Type we used is FIRST with trigger interval as 30000.
We have a process defined which is being used by 10 triggered queues set at our side.
Now message in DLQ says that , trigger monitor could not start the process therefore it has put the message into DLQ. IBM is saying that there is possibillity that the process is already running and when trigger monitor is trying to start the process it is failing.
Logically there can run any number of instance for an exe then why this problem.
Can there be any other reason for this?
Any Idea?
We had what sounds like the same problem and raised it with IBM.
The answer was that firstly there was a trigger monitor problem fixed in CSD04 of MQ 5.3 (IY39949). We already had this applied.
Secondly they said:
Set the environment variable AMQ_SIGCHILD_SIGACTION to any value. (They mentioned that this was related to related to 1124.PRB - if you have a problem open you could see if that helps you.)
