browse queue on Unix box from program on XP machine

on my xp workstation, I understand how to write a MQ java program to browse a specified queue for messages (LOCALLY) but can I also include functionality so I can connect to a Unix box( aix running MQ ) and be able to browse queues for messages from my xp machine and display them? what would I need to add, anyone have any experience with this?

You need to tell your Java program that it's making a client connection to the server instead of a server connection.

This is handled by setting up options in the MQEnvironment, like conname, port, channel, etc.
