Hi,

I am using AMI with MQSeries for interacting with java interface on Solaris. My MQSeries installation path is /opt/mqm and assigned to the user group of mqm and user mqm. When I am running the java application, provided in amt/samp/java/bin for SendForget it's working fine when user login is mqm. Where as when I try to run the same application with different user login and from another location, it gives the error of

java com.ibm.mq.amt.samples.SendForget
>>> START AMI Sample SendForget
create()
open()
>>> AMI SendForget experienced an Exception ...
java.lang.Exception: <<< AmError >>>
from method[open]
of class[AmSession]
with reasonCode[109]

>>> END AMI Sample SendForget

with Reason code 109 (AMRC_NOT_AUTHORIZED).

Is it the Authorization problem ??? If so what additional configuration required to overcome the problem.

Regards,
Narayan

Sounds like you need to run some setmqaut commands for the user. See the System Admin Guide.

Thanks, it was Authorization problem indeed. Got rid of it with proper authorisation setting.
