Hi all,
I usually use sercurity which was used with OS's sercurity,no problem occurs. But each time I want to connect from MQ Client to MQ server.I have to log in userId which was declared in MQ Server.
Some body help me:
- connect from MQ Client to MQ Server but have not to login with UserId which was declare in MQ Server(example: a Connect function in MQSeries which need a pair userid/password) .
My System:
- OS :windows2000
- Websphere MQ v5.3 Client and Server
Thanks in Advances

You could modify your svrconn channel on the server to include your logon id in the MCAUSER attribute. That way you could logon as any user and run your client app and you would get connected to the server. Assuming that you have a user/principal defined on the server with your original logon id.
Cheers

Hi JeffLowrey,
Yes,I want a security exit,But:
- I want a security exit for Client-Server mode
- I want a security exit for Server-Server mode
Can you give me source or *.dll file and doc for it?or give me where I can find it,ok?
Thanks in advance

I can't give you one myself. Unless you were willing to pay for it?
But there is a button at the top of this page marked 'Repository' that might have something you can use. And there is a sample SSPI exit supplied with WebSphere 5.3 on Windows, both in compiled and source forms. There is also a supplied sample exit for DCE security. See the Intercommunications manual and the Application Programming Guide for more info. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
