Hi

I am trying to change the connection details of my cluster sender and the receiver channels. But its always referring to the Old IP and hence going to the retrying state.

I have also tried to delete the channels and re-create the same but still reference to the Old IP were maintained.

Any Idea how to handle such scenarios.
kindly help at the earliest as its bit urgent.

Thanks
Ajith

The connames in cluster channels are usually that of CLUSRCVRs.

Had changed the connection accordingly in the Cluster receiver channels as well. But still whenever we try to start the cluster channels, its trying to connect to the Old IP and hence fails.

Please provide the output from the following MQSC commands for the two queue managers in question...

On qm1..
DIS CLUSQMGR(<qm1>) DEFTYPE CONNAME STATUS
DIS CLUSQMGR(<qm2>) DEFTYPE CONNAME STATUS

On qm2..
DIS CLUSQMGR(<qm1>) DEFTYPE CONNAME STATUS
DIS CLUSQMGR(<qm2>) DEFTYPE CONNAME STATUS

Also identify which cluster sender has the connection problem and which IP address is which (old/new).

Cheers,
Ian
