I've a problem whereby my config mgr only able to deploy small messages which is below 50K. For messages more than that, it will just stuck in the middle of nowhere. I'd checked my queue settings for Mqseries whereby my :

SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.REPLY
SYSTEM.BROKER.CONFIG.REPLY
SYSTEM.BROKER.CONFIG.QUEUE
SYSTEM.ADMIN.CHANNEL.EVENT
SYSTEM.ADMIN.QMGR.EVENT
SYSTEM.BROKER.MODEL.QUEUE

: where all the above queues settings are:
MAX MSG LENGTH = 104857600
MAX QUEUE DEPTH = 640000


SYSTEM.DEFAULT.MODEL.QUEUE
SYSTEM.CLUSTER.COMMAND.QUEUE

: where all the above queues settings are :
MAX MSG LENGTH = 4194304
MAX QUEUE DEPTH = 5000


I am currently using MQSI Ver. 2.1 and MQseries V5.2.1. My Config mgr. holds 2 brokers and Mqseries will help to transport all the messages from the config mgr to the AIX Server.

Hi,

I Think you need to increase the MAXIMUM Message Length on the SENDER and RECEIVER channles. for both QMGRs.

make them : MAXMSGL(104857600)

Hi,

You need to increase the Xmitq Queue on ConfigMgr QMGR.

to be 104857600.
