in batch file when creating the qmgr & services, we issue
Code: |
amqmdain crttrm %QMGR% SYSTEM.DEFAULT.INITIATION.QUEUE 1>>%MQLOG% 2>>&1
amqmdain crtchi %QMGR% SYSTEM.CHANNEL.INITQ 1>>%MQLOG% 2>>&1
amqmdain crtlsr %QMGR% -p 1414 1>>%MQLOG% 2>>&1
amqmdain auto %QMGR% 1>>%MQLOG% 2>>&1 |
but I noticed within the MQExplorer if i check the properties, specifically "recovery" it has the restart service if fail, delay 1 minute and retry 3 times...
1- are these default settings???
2- how do I change them, so when my batch creates them it creates the settings I want?
im using xp/5.3
thanks much!

I suppose you aer talking about MQ Services MMC Console.
Yes they are default values. I dont think you can do anything with MQ to change it, but I suppose it can be changed using scripts with some windows MMC knowledge. _________________ -Ratan |

do you mean websphereMQ.msc ??
so there is no way to specify those parameters so when the services are created they have something other than the default values?? |

I have no Idea how to do it. But I am sure there will be some way. The only thing I can say is, it is not MQ Specific. _________________ -Ratan |
