Just a quick question to see if I need to be careful about altering the maxchannels on a NSK system on v. 5.1 with CSD02 applied? The default is 10. Is there any reason I couldn't change it 50, or 100, or 500, along with maxactivechannels?
The manual only talks about that you can alter it, but provides no guidlines for keeping it so low. It also doesn't provide any warnings about having much larger than you need.

I dont think there is any limit and you could use as many as your system allows without breaking down. I have used around 100 without any issues.

We have 1000 on the MaxChannels. & MaxActiveChannels.
We have conected 500 Channes on a S74002 working fine.
The only problem is the time for starting the QMGR (MaxChannels high , more time to start). |
