Is there any disadvantage while using the default server connection
channel 'SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN' instead of creating new
server connection channel?

Please reply in case you have any idea.

Thanks

The disadvantage is that it is the default. Some groups will get rid of some of the default definitions so that they can't be used by accident. You might also need something specific for your definition which you wouldn't be able to specify since somebody else might be using the default. I use the default for testing, and create my own when I try to deploy.
