Hi
We have problems, in the way that suddenly the sender channel and the corresponding receiver channel go out of match on the sequence numbers. IF we reset the channel it works again. They have the same SEQWRAP.
Is there a way to work around this, to let MQ ignore a mismatch?
We put on queue using JMS:

I don't think there's a way to have MQ ignore it. If you think about it, having the sequence number out of order really does require human intervention, because you have one guy (sender) saying the sequence is X, and some other guy (receiver) saying the sequence is Y. Who to believe? If MQ just "ignores it" it means that it'll have to make a choice, X or Y. Which means it'll be wrong half the time. However, you might have a better idea of what caused the sequence to get out of sync in the first place, and better determine whether it is X or Y.
But the more important question is why are they getting out of sync for you? Have you looked at the logs? The only time I ever had this sort of thing happen to me was when we were having intermittent network problems. _________________ Brandon Duncan
