Hi,

I'm using JMS to connect to a queue manager in AS 400. When I run the IVTRun program with no jndi option using
IVTRun -nojndi -m <QM Name>

I get the following error

Creating a Connection
Unable to load message catalog - mqji
Caught exception: javax.jms.JMSException: MQJMS2005: failed to ceate MQQueue
Manager for 'LONUSCC01'
linked exception : com.ibm.mq.MQException: Message catalog not found
IVT finished

I guess this is the problem with the libraries. I would really appreciate if someone can tell me how to solve this problem.

Is the QMGR local.
If not you could also try using the client mode

IVTRun [-t] -nojndi -client -m <qmgr> -host <hostname> [-port <port>]
[-channel <channel>]

If you put the mqji.properties file in the CLASSPATH, then you should not get the "message catalog not found" error.

Specify -t option to enable tracing.
