Asif,
U200186.exe is CSD4 for WMQI 2.1
U200195.exe is CSD5 for WMQI 2.1
U200188.exe is CSD4 for WMQIB 2.1
U200196.exe is CSD5 for WMQIB 2.1
Where,
WMQI - Websphere MQ Integrator
WMQIB - Websphere MQ Integrator Broker (Without NEON component)
The name of the product changed from WMQI to WMQI with ver 2.1. Based on the information you have provided, you have Websphere MQSeries Integrator v2.1 installed on Windows platform. _________________ Kiran

Where can I find the CSDs for download for my WMQI v2.1? I can no longer find them on IBM's website through navigation... Can someone post a direct link to the webpage? Thanks! |

Thanks! The link works
But I'm kinda confused... You see, my Control Center / Configuration Manager is on an NT machine, but my Broker is residing on OS/390. On the page, I see CSD5 is available for NT, but only CSD4 is available for OS/390. So can I download CSD5 and install on my NT machine, and CSD4 to install on OS/390? Will it work 'compatibly'? Or is it dangerous... |

Generally it is encouraged that the Control Centre and ConfigMgr machines are at the same CSD level as the broker, but this not enforced. Higher CSD level Control Centre/ConfigMgr machines can deploy to Brokers that are at a lower CSD level. Afterall a V2.1 Control centre/configMgr can deploy to V2.02 Brokers.
There are some exceptions to this rule, and when these exceptions occur then they are usually documented in the readme.txt. One known exception for V2.1 is that in CSD03, MRM validations options were made available. If these were activated (by deleting and recreating the configMgr), then the Brokers would have to be upgraded to CSD03 as well so that these validations options would be understood by the broker.
But in this case you can run a CSD05 Control Centre/ConfigMgr with CSD04 brokers. _________________ Regards
