The following WebSphere MQ Family SupportPacs have been released:

IA0G: WebSphere MQ Integrator - XML transformation node

The IBM XML Transformation node manipulates the data portion of an MQSeries message, if it is in XML (eXtensible Markup Language) format. The Transformation node uses an XSL (eXtensible Stylesheet Language) stylesheet to transform the data portion of the message. The stylesheet, using the rules defined within it, can sort the data, select data elements to include or to exclude based on some criteria and transform the data into some other data format.

ID06: WebSphere MQ Integrator - MRM utilities

This SupportPac contains a number of command line utilities that provide useful functions when working with the MRM in WebSphere MQ Integrator V2.1. The utilities include a bulk load utility that will load type, element and value definitions into a message set that has been defined within the MRM. Utilities are also provided to list all message sets and messages defined within the MRM and to list certain aspects of the elements and types within a particular message.

ID11: WebSphere MQ Integrator for z/OS - Writing New Era of Networks COBOL User Exits

New Era of Networks Rules and Formatter support for WebSphere MQ Integrator for z/OS allows user exits to be defined to customize the actions of the formatter. The exit programs execute under UNIX System Services, and because of this certain programming restrictions apply. The restrictions, which include threading and data access issues, apply in particular to user exits written in COBOL. This SupportPac describes how to develop such user exits in COBOL, and includes a set of sample programs that illustrate the techniques that can be used.

IP66: WebSphere MQ Integrator for AIX V2.1 - Performance report
IP67: WebSphere MQ Integrator for Sun Solaris V2.1 - Performance report
IP68: WebSphere MQ Integrator for HP-UX V2.1 - Performance report
IP72: WebSphere MQ Integrator for Windows NT and Windows 2000 V2.1 - Performance report

These SupportPacs provide profiles of WebSphere MQ Integrator V2.1 performance. The reports detail the results of a variety of throughput measurements using different aspects of the products. The reports also contain a section on capacity planning and details of recommended minimum machine configurations. Finally there is a section containing performance recommendations for use when installing and configuring WebSphere MQ Integrator V2.1.

The following WebSphere MQ Family SupportPacs have been updated:

IH01: WebSphere MQ Integrator V2.1 - Problem determination

This SupportPac is designed to help users of WebSphere MQ Integrator Version 2.1 work with the system components, with the Control Center, and with message sets and message flows. The book has been refreshed for the release of WebSphere MQ Integrator Version 2.1 for the AIX, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, Windows NT and Windows 2000, and z/OS platforms. The document layout has been improved, and an index added at the back. New chapters have been added to deal with z/OS installation and uninstallation and Message aggregation.

WA05: MQSeries Workflow - XML Development Toolkit and Sample Scenario

This SupportPac contains tools and a sample scenario that can help you implement your own application using the XML message interface of MQSeries Workflow. The following changes have been made in this release:

- Addition of the FDL to XML schema translator tool.
- Addition of XML messages to manipulate process instances.

WA07: MQSeries Workflow - Web Services Process Management Toolkit

Web Services are self-describing, self-contained, modular applications running on the Web for the benefit of enterprises who want to create innovative processes and value chains. The Web Service Process Management Toolkit (WSPMTK) combines business process management technology with Web Services and offers the tools and samples needed. The WSPMTK tools and samples complement MQSeries Workflow and allow you to create complex Web Services. It has been updated to reflect the changes for MQSeries Workflow Version 3.3.2.

WA83: MQSeries Workflow - Rapid deployment wizard

This SupportPac supplies a tool with which you can quickly create JSP layout skeleton files for use with the IBM MQSeries Workflow - Web Client. It has been updated to reflect the changes in MQSeries Workflow Version 3.3.2.
