The last activity in a batch transmission is MCA's at both ends of the channel coming to an agreement that a batch was successfully transmitted and committed (or backed-out and re-transsmitted). Several synchronization conversations between the channel ends comprise this. "Both," in this statement, encompasses delays at either/both ends of the channel. _________________ I like deadlines.
