Channel names can be randomly chosen.
Correcting CLUSRCVR channel defs to point to themselves fixed this. Clustering software on other qmgrs uses the CLUSRCVR channel def to create CLUSSDRA or CLUSSDRB channels back. So, if the CLUSRCVR def is defective, the channel pair will not bind to its partner.
Early in this thread I asked what resource (document, procedure ...) you are following to create your cluster. You did not respond. Do a quick google search for 'how to create an mq cluster'.
