Answer: Because there is no guarantee that the ATG message sink did not roll back and deliver the message on a subsequent transaction.... it's all coming back to the bug in the ATG XA transaction manager....

I admit, I know nothing about ATG XA, except what is written here, so i'll take your word for it Does this bug remain unsolved?

We're still working with ATG on it. To this day I don't believe it has been solved yet.

Enjoy

Hello MQ Experts,

I have a local queue and I was trying delete the queue but its the queue in not empty.

I did a queue status and here is the result:

DIS QSTATUS(EMBDIT2)
6 : DIS QSTATUS(EMBDIT2)
AMQ8450: Display queue status details.
QUEUE(EMBDIT2) IPPROCS(0)
OPPROCS(0) CURDEPTH(0)
UNCOM(YES)

I recycled my queue manager, I tried dspmqtrn, its says no transactions.

Can somebody help me here please. Any input would be difinitely help me and highly appreciated.

Thank You,

You may have to bounce the qmgr...

Thank you for your help but i did stop and restarted my queue manager a couple times with no luck.

I have also stopped sender/receiver channels.

I have used MO71 SupportPac. It is showing 19 uncommitted messages but I'm not able to browse those messages since I'm new to MO71 tool.

Thanks a lot for all your help.

Regards,

Regards,
If the messages survived the bouncing of the QM you should be able to see the transactions using dspmqtrn. You may have to force commit to be able to "see" the messages. If you force roll back they'll be gone...
