The other option would be to have the developers install locally "IBM MQ for Developers" on their PC/laptop (which is free) then they can do what they want to their queue managers and your DEV environment would still be managed by the MQAdmins.

Oooooh, I like it!
My fear (well justified by experience) is that what we offer in a DEV environment will inevitably and politically creep into PROD. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
