It's an addendum to Vitor's disclaimer-filled post. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Ha! Thank-you for the kind words Vitor. Although I do have to question whether I have ever bought you a drink. I am not sure which suggestion is worse. That I may be buying you drinks for some nefarious purpose. Or that I am so tight with my money that I only 'buy' people drinks at a free bar. We are all spoilt that Roger ensures everyone is well taken care of at MQTC in the booze department.
I agree whole heartedly that some tools are worth the money and others are not. Likewise different users use the products in different ways so sometimes a product is applicable and sometimes not. I've met some MQ Admins who hardly ever use RUNMQSC and others who use it all the time. Some people prefer command line type tools (sometimes referred to as 'power' users) and others always prefer to be cosetted in a GUI. If you are the type that uses RUNMQSC regularly then I would be surprised if you do not find a significant usability increase by using MQSCX.
However, the proof is in the pudding as they say. That's why we offer a free, no obligation, 1-month trial of all of our products so you can get a good feel of what they are capable of, their performance and the productivity gains they offer.
Cheers,
Paul. _________________ Paul Clarke

I didn't think you were that far gone....

You don't need to buy me a drink to get me involved in a nefarious purpose. It's a kind thought, but unnecessary. I'm in it for the nefarious. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Who are these decent people, how did they get in here and what do they hope to accomplish?
