Hey there are no error logs neither there aer FDC's created.
Have you got the full exception text? Eg. a call stack at the time of failure? The information so far is really thin. And those who are insisting it is a communications error are doing so on the basis of probable cause from long experience, not actually looking at your failure in detail.
Are you using the latest version of MQ code on both sides of the link? Do you get no error messages on the qmgr side? I am amazed to hear this, I would expect something, though it might not be immediately (possibly 2 hours if your Keepalive has not been tuned up).
I suggest getting your Keepalive settings tuned up (search for this on the internet and also review SupportPac MD0C.
If it really is not possible to work out the cause, you will have to open a PMR. Make sure you get a trace from the Java client side and the qmgr side capturing the whole event, as this will save time enabling IBM to inspect this for the cause of the problem.
