Has anyone been able to download this?
FixCentral claims it can't find the fix.
EDit: ok, I was able to find it. I couldn't use the direct link from the page Peter pointed at.
I had to do a Browse for fixes in FixCentral. Then it let me find the files and start the download.
REEDIT.
I still can't find the Linux x86-64 bit server FP. I can find the client FP, but not the server FP. I can find LinuxPPC 64, but not x86. |

Same for me, and I had a problem on Windows (8.1 Pro, 64Bit) with a dll failure as follows:
Code: |
Flexeraawm$aaa: Windows DLL failed to load
at Flexeraawm.af(Unknown Source)
at Flexeraawm.aa(Unknown Source)
at com.zerog.ia.installer.LifeCycleManager.init(Unknown Source)
at com.zerog.ia.installer.LifeCycleManager.executeApplication(Unknown Source)
at com.zerog.ia.installer.Main.main(Unknown Source)
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:94)
at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:55)
at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:619)
at com.zerog.lax.LAX.launch(Unknown Source)

Anybody had similar issues? I'm using the DeveloperWorks release by the way...
Also, seriously I know, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it to MQTC this year, sorry. Looking on the bright side, I'm sure you'll all have more fun without me there! _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Well yes, but it's a bit disapointing having to buy my own drinks. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Now Vitor, you don't hail from 'Gods own Country' do you? (Yorkshire).
I'll buy you a beer but only if it is 6X or T.E.A. (well, I'm safe there then...)

Ok, the news today is that there does appear to be a full set of FP downloads for 8.0.0.1 Server available.
You *can't* get to them from the link off of http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg24038219.
But if you do a search for all fixes, you get a nice tidy list.
Some of the fixpacks now include a "b" at the end, including exerk's lovely Windows fix, and the now-available fixpacks for linux. |

I don't love Windows - it just happens to be the majority of what I'm working on at the moment _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

I didn't say you loved it.
I said it was "lovely". |

And again...

at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:619)
at com.zerog.lax.LAX.launch(Unknown Source)
at com.zerog.lax.LAX.main(Unknown Source) |
And I have updated java (version 7, update 67), which has made no difference. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Urgh.
I ran it successfully on Win7. Even though it *claimed* the install generated an error, it also claimed to have been installed successfully.
Hopefully you've got a PMR already? |

I'll get to test it against a W2012 server tomorrow and I'll be raising a PMR if it fails against that platform. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Is there some coincidence that there is a problem with MQ 8001 and Apple are having problems with iOS 801?
What is it with the numbers 8 and 1?

Hi,
can anybody tell me what are the differences between 8.0.0-WS-MQ-Linux X64-FP0001b and 8.0.0-WS-MQ-Linux X64-FP0001???
I installed the FP without the "b" and I wonder if I have to install the FP with the "b" ...
Any information would be appreciated
Thanks,
Oli |
