Hi Everyone...I am unable to create configurable service which has a single quote in it. I was able to add the same using MQExplorer but via command prompt I am getting an exception.
I am thinking that there might be an escape character that I should use but I am currently at loss. Hoping someone could help me out.
Code:
C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\9.0.0.1>mqsicreateconfigurableservice IB9NODE -c UserDefined -o Test -n test1 -v "ID='123456'"
BIP2051E: Broker IB9NODE (UUID c6d87a63-e023-4ca6-b19e-ced384a07471) could not process an internal configuration message to completion, the problem was caused by 'Create : test1 : ID='.
The configuration message could not be processed and was rejected.
Use the inserts within this message to determine the cause of the problem. Correct the broker's configuration and redeploy using the Integration Toolkit, mqsideploy command or a CMP application. Contact your IBM support center if you are unable to resolve the problem.
BIP2087E: Broker 'IB9NODE' was unable to process the internal configuration message.
The entire internal configuration message failed to be processed successfully.
Use the messages following this message to determine the reasons for the failure. If the problem cannot be resolved after reviewing these messages, contact your IBM Support center. Enabling service trace may help determine the cause of the failure.
BIP8036E: Negative response received.
This command sends an internal configuration message to the broker, the response received indicated that the internal configuration message was unsuccessful.
Check that the WebSphere MQ transport is available. Check the system log for further information.
Your command runs fine on V9.0.0.5 and V10. If your command prompt is accurate that you are running 9.0.0.1 then I would consider upgrading to later maintenance levels. _________________ Regards
