Hi
I'm working on one message flow which includes sap adapter connection. We, developers dont have access to runtime environment which will be handled by infrastructure team, runtime env is in Unix, dev environment is in Windows.
When Im trying to create SAPAdapter connection, it has showed path for Connector file D:\Program Files\IBM\WMBT610\ResourceAdapters\SAP_6.1.0.0\deploy\CWYAP_SAPAdapter_Tx.rar
1) If runtime env is in Unix, what this path is referring to?
SAP library files have been installed in runtime env.
We developers received sap jar files zip file from infrastructure team and unzipped it and saved in some local drive.
While creating adapter connection, choosen path for library files as given below
Ex: K:\SAP_JCO\sapjco.jar, K:\SAP_JCO\librfc32.dll, K:\SAP_JCO\sapjcorfc.dll
2) Is it correct to save these jar files in local drive?
Do we have to save these jar files only in C/D drive?
Sometimes I receieved NoClassDefFoundError:com.sap.mw.jco.JCO,
this is occuring only few times not always.
Im wondering why this error is occurring only few times.
It would be helpful, if someone can answer my queries.
Thanks. |

Don't know about the .rar adapter... It used to require Netweaver.
About the SAPJCO adapter.
There is a different version for unix/AIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows.
You need to install the version that is right for your platform.
You might also want to add the jars for idoc handling that are relevant for your platform.
- the Jars will need to be on your classpath.
- the SAPJCO install directory will need to be on your PATH in Windows and on your LIBRARY_PATH/LD_LIBRARY_PATH/LIBPATH in Unix. See the appropriate environment command for your OS
- There is a sap note that says that you need a .dll file from the appropriate .NET framework version
