If anyone is using this exit
(http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0602_locke/0602_locke.html?S_TACT=105AGX52&S_CMP=cn-a-wes)
Then the published code will not work with WMQ V6.
This is mostly down to the offsets in the message for the Transmit Queue Header. The code uses an offset of 492.
This is incorrect for WMQ V6 and the latest version of MQE.
The value should be 512.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Jeff,
There are a number of large implementatons of MQe here in the UK that I know of and there are several more under development.
MQe does have its problems but once you get your head around the differences between it and WMQ it is acutually easy to use.
However, what the future holds for it. is another matter. The lack of an updated release to put is on a par with WMQ is a question I have been asked several times recently but I understand there is a new fixpack on the way.
