I am trying to implement security exit on both ends of an MQ channel between AS400 and NT. On the client I am writing the code in Java. On the AS400 the exit is written in c. When I do not use a security exit class in java and try sending the user-id and password through the MQenvironment variables, the program works fine. The user id is validated and I can shut the channel off if either an ivalid userid or password is supplied by the channel. But when I try to use a MQsecurity class, this does not works. The sequence of exit reason on the as400 is 11 (MQXR_INIT), 16(MQXR_INIT_SEC) and 12(MQXR_TERM). It is the same on the java side as well. Whereas I would expect a exit reason of 15(MQXR_SEC_MSG) after the 16(MQXR_INIT_SEC). Can anybody provide any help on this.
