Hello ,

I am doing client/server communication using MQSERVER Environment variable on Webserver MQ 5.3.

I have created an channel with name XIBCHAN in the server side.

In the client side i have givem the MQSERVER Env varibale

XIBCHAN/TCP/192.168.11.154(16161)

And started the listener in the server side

runmqlsr -m QM_amt71 -t tcp -p 16161

The following is the error what i found when running amqsputc command from the command prompt.

C:\Documents and Settings\schowdary>amqsputc SourceQ QM_amt71
Sample AMQSPUT0 start
MQCONN ended with reason code 2059

In the Error log i can find the error as followes

05/26/2005 15:12:11
AMQ9541: CCSID supplied for data conversion not supported.

EXPLANATION:
The program ended because, either the source CCSID '964' or the target CCSID
'437' is not valid, or is not currently supported.
ACTION:
Correct the CCSID that is not valid, or ensure that the requested CCSID can be
supported.

Can anybody help me in resolving this problem.

Thanks & Regards
Suman

What kind of Channel.

runmqlsr -m QM_amt71 -t tcp -p 16161

And that command is still running.

This is a red herring. It has nothing to do with your connection problem. It is from someone doing a GET, with Convert, not a PUT.

Cheers,
