Hi,
Rather than a specific problem, this is a much more open question...
I'm intrigued to know whether anybody out there has ever managed to get XA working with WBIMB and Oracle, using WMQ as the transaction co-ordinator, in the following environment:
OS: Solaris 5.9
WBIMB: 5.0 CSD05
WMQ: 5.3 CSD09
Oracle: 9i Release 2 (9.2.0.4)
If you have, I'd love to hear from you!
Thanks. |

There are several customers successfully running with this configuration.
This configuration is also covered in the WBIMB test suite. _________________ Regards, Ian |

Well Ian, IBM would of course have this covered in the Regression Test Suite, and it would be very surprising if this major feature of the product wasn't being used in the customer base. However, it seems inordinately painful to set up! No matter how carefully you follow the manuals...
So can you folks who have passed the pain barrier please impart some wisdom to those of us who are still suffering? Any contact admin gotchas you overcame? Any specific recommendations? Anyone who's willing to compare notes?
Do please let on!
Cheers -
