fOlks..
I have 2 queue managers that are on different systems (windows 2000 server &windows xp pro) on the same Lan (two virtual IP’s) but there is no domain controller in my network just workgroup.
These 2 Mqseries server configured by using channels(sender and receiver on both sides) and transmission queues on both sides as described .but I don’t know for some reason the message that I want to send to the remote queue still in my local transmission Queue and the source sender channel keep on trying to send it to the remote queue manager but the message never made to the remote queue do you think why this happen
I did that the follwoing
A. On the local QM
1. create a remote queue definition. In the RQNAME give the remote
queue name to which you want to send msg; in RQMNAME specify the QM to
which remote queue belongs and in the XMITQ give the remote QM name.
2. Create a XMITQ with the remote QM name. Set the triggering ON
in the TRIGDATA set the Sender Channel name that u will use to send msg to the Remote QM.
3. Define a Sender Channel and a Receiver Channel.
B. On the Remote QM:
1. define the local queue on which u will put msg.
2. define a XMITQ with the name of the Source QM. Set the triggering ON
in the TRIGDATA specify the name of the SDR channel which u will use
to send the report back to the Source QM.
3. Define the corresponding SDR and RCV channels to the channels you
have have defined on the Source QM.
