Does anyone have any experience running MQ in a MSCS environment for failover protection or perhaps know where I can get some doco on this? I have a qmgr running on an HPUX machine in a ServiceGuard environment which works fine during a failure but I have a request to look into setting up MQ in a MSCS configuration. Any help would be apperciated.

Thanks Jeff, I didn't see this on the IBM site. (going blind in my old age)Have you been able to sucessfully failover using this support pack? Just wondering if there are any "gotchas" beyond the installation instructions. |

Well I started after the system was setup, but i was there to test it,
It would fail over without problems if you yanked power on the primary box. It
didnt seem to notice that the network cable was unplugged ??? unsure if it is the setup, we dont have a test cluster. One other issue that is getting use to
using the Cluster Admin program to take services up/down , if you use the normal NT Services and stop it that way it will start to failover.
