Hello!

I would like to understand more about the MQSIMRDB, basically
because I have a lunch time project of putting ESQL code in a CSV
repository in order to take daily snapshots of thousands of
line of code.

Is there a description of the MQSIMRDB and its tables? I've now
a minimal understanding of where things like categories,
messages and transactions are located and related. However
I have problems understanding where Type elements are saved.
In table M_TYPE I can only find primitive types.

All suggestions are welcomed

Have a look at the SupportPac site http://www-306.ibm.com/software/integration/support/supportpacs/.
There is a product extension (so it is supported under the IPLA) to extract and version messageflows and messagesets with commandline utilities.

This guarantees also compatibility with future releases of the product.
