Linux, WMQ 5.3 server. 1 cluster, one queue of each regular QM part of the cluster not all the queues.
My setup is a repository QM, secRepository QM
6 other QM's that are connected to another system with SND/RCVR channels.
1-stop any pgms using mq.
2-stop all sender chls.
3-endmqm repQM
4-endmqm secrepQM
5-endmqm QM1,2,3,4,5,6
6-end listeners for REPQM.SECREPQM, QM1,2,3,4,5,6
is this correct?
that is the order of shutting down the entire MQ system?
Is this info in the Linux manual or System Manual?
also which manual gives you in detail what all the AMQ* jobs are. there seem to be so many running linux. lsr, chi..
***** ALSO, I noticed the secrepository ends unexpected;y from time..is this normal? the secondary repository seems useless anyway.
thankyou |

1 not necessary, but good to do.
2 not necessary.
3-4-5 can happen in any order
6 yes, end your listener after the QM is down. Or before. Makes no diff.
