Hi,
I'm new of MQSeries and I have some problems.
I have installed MQSeries V5.2 under NT and under AIX (both server), but:
1- I send messages from NT (with command "amqsput <queue name> <queue manager name>") and I see my sent messages on the trasmission queue (under NT), but I can't receive messages under AIX (with command "amqsget <queue name> <queue manager name>"). There aren't errors, only "no more messages".
2- I send messages from AIX and, at the same moment, NT machine stops and then it restarts. I always lose first message, and maybe also the other three or four that I send when NT machine restarts.
Where are my messages!?!?!?!?
Can you help me?

Thanks
P.S.: I'm sorry for my English!!!

Youre English is great

I am thinking that the missing message may be in the dead letter queue on the AIX system. The amqsget and amsqsput will put non-persistent messages by default. This means that when the queue manager stops and is restarted, the messages are lost. This is by design. If you want the messages to be retained after a queue manager restart, you should use persistent messages.

Review the manuals and find the following topics:

o Dead Letter Queue
o Persistent messages

I think these will be good pointers.
