You might get it.....
Will you be able to keep it is the better question!
In 3 or 4 weeks I could probably BS my way through an interview for a brain surgeon. I probably won't be giving a second surgery though.

Some one is wrong.
Three to four months would be pressing it. _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |

Hi,
Can anybody anwser the queries?
1) What is the language used for writing queues?
2) A MQseries developer should be aware of all flavors of Unix (i.e. Linux, solaris, AIX) & Windows? Is it so?
3) Does MQseries developer need to know scripting language such as Pearl?
4) Does MQseries developer need to know Struts,Java Beans, XML?
5) I mean to ask, what are the pre-requisites for thoroughly learning MQseries?
thanks
Johnl

1) Depends on how you go about learning and how much exposure you have to it. You can take WMQ Classes at a number of places but when you dig in and get your hands dirty is when you really start to learn.
2) Good technical background. Knowledge of Unix, Microsoft and other operating systems/platforms.
3) Usually quite abundant even in low demand times for other technical areas. |

Lots of people in my company know how to define, start/stop MQ Objects - and they claim to know MQ... but they are up the creek at the first sign of any real trouble, and the 'environment' looks like something Dr Frankenstein created.
So, I suppose you could get a job - but you'd be on this board every day looking to get bailed out of something-or-other. |

Based on your ability to post to this thread, I'd double Chris's reply. |
