Hello All,
We have 40 different main flows and 3 common sub-flows. These 3 common sub-flows are present in all the 40 main flows.
Now, when I deploy all the 40 main flows and if a situation arises where I had to update one of my sub-flows, do I need to re-deploy all the 40 main flows? No other way ?
Theoritically I need to re-compile all those fows that refer this sub-flow, but I am just wondering if there is any best practice to handle such scenarios.
Thanks,
pvemuri. |

As far as am aware, a subflow is not an individual flow. When a main flow refers to the subflow, and a comipled message flow is built in the bar file, then the information of both main flow and subflow gets included in the compiled message flow. Thus if there are 3 main flows and if they refer to a common subflow, then all the main flows would still have the information of the subflows in them when the .cmf file is built. Broker doesnot distinguish the main flow and subflow.
Thus if u modify the subflow and want these modifications to get reflected in all your flows, then you have no choice other than recomipling all our flows if the chages need to be picked. |
