I am installing WMQI V5 and followed the instructions to install the Agent Controller. I downloaded the AIX version from the same page as CSD04 and ftp'd it to my AIX box.

The install went without issues but when I try to start it I get:

(root)ashsod02:/usr/IBMRAC/bin # RAStart.sh
RAServer failed to start

I don't see any logs, is there somewhere I can look for more information about why it failed?

Looks like I needed to set:
Environment variable RASERVER_HOME must be set and point to the directory where the IBM Agent Controller is installed

no.

I ran the RASServer command and got that message. I exported the ENV Var and then tried starting again and everything worked.
