Hi
Try to create a user who
- can run runmqsc, but
- has limited MQ authorities
Q: is this possible at all?
I faced the following problems:
When the user is not member of mqm group, then he has no rights to run runmqsc.
When the user is in mqm group, I am not able revoke any authorities using setmqaut; setmqaut is run successfully but dspmqaut shows the full authorities again!
Can anybody help?

| Unfortunately, this is not yet possible. If a user has the authority to run "runmqsc", then he has the authority to do anything to the queue manager. If you need a subset of avtivities, consider writing a PCF based application to perform just the limited tasks required. |
