Hi,

i know this has been asked before, but when i search this topic i get only a list, containing topic with dead links. Might be some problem with the archive, so i have to ask again.

Installing CSD08, i always run into AMQ4757. I shut down the QM and the MQ Service before installation. I even looked into Taskmanager for open processes, nothing obvious running. Next time i made a reboot with having the process to start manually, so that no MQ process should run or block any files.

I looked in the installation log but cannot see anything special.

Perhaps anybody could to tell me what to look for or how to solve this problem?? Did i missed something ??

Thanks

Thorsten

Go to www.sysinternals.com and download a utility called ListDLLs.
Unzip it to your hard drive and run the following from a command prompt:
listdlls > files.out.
This command will produce a list of dlls that are locked by each process
on your machine.
Open the output file via 'notepad' and search for 'mq' string. If there
are any mq dlls locked by some process, please kill that process and try
install again.

It is probably caused by some java app running, and your classpath contains some WMQ jar files. All the jars are loaded into the JVM, and so these files are in use.

One option is from a prompt CD to the directory that the CSD unpacked to, and enter:
amqicsdn MQPINUSEOK=1
This will allow the install to complete by flaging the "in use" files
to be replaced upon reboot. Please note that this option requires a
reboot to complete.
