I have to build a message model with the following pattern
TIF+ABC+ABC MR::1'
FTV+++NH+:12345678901+UA:1111111112'
TKT+6182104576754'
CPN+1'
The first 3 characters on each row are tags. The rest are data elements.
My problem is that there is no group identifier. This group of 4 rows can repeat upto 10 times, but is optional. TIF and FTV must occur in the group and TKT and CPN are optional. Additionally the length of data variables can also vary.
How do I define a message model or group for the same?
Any help would be most appreciated |

just one clarification needed:
are the trailing single quotes present in your message?
eg, does your message looks like:
TIF+ABC+ABC MR::1'
or like:
TIF+ABC+ABC MR::1

Whats the rule behind this?
I mean, is it that TKT and CPN both should appear or just any one of them can appear? Do these tags go in pair or separately?

Dear Vivek,
Thanks. I have managed to get the problem sorted out using a complex type and attaching the four tags mentioned as local elements (child elements) of that complex type, each element being a complex type itself.
Additionally each of the these elements I have treated as a tag.
The problem has been resolved.
