I recently ran into the following problem:

ParserException BIP5344E: CWF Output: Mismatch between logical definition and message tree.
Message : z2copor
Element : devpoi

This basically says, that a default value needs to be supplied for missing elements. To resolve the issue, I defined a value constraint (Default Value) for each element. This corrected the error, but left me with additional questions.

Sine I have NO elements that were not assigned, why did I need to do this step?

I had 54 elements I had to do this for. Very time consuming? Is there a way to to this for all elements in one step? Also, I needed to set all padding for the elemnets to "SPACE". Again another long step/process. Any way to do this in one step? My initial structure were imported from a C header. Would a DTD have been better? [/code]

It could be that your elements were not populated in correct sequence. To populate the elements in differetn order you can set the complex type to "Unordered Set".

I don't think so.

Padding should be set to SPACES by default for STRING data types.

For C import, I think the padding is set to NUL.
