Hi
i have a little Problem ...
A channel is stopped and i have a STATUS SAVED connection, but its old ...how i can remove the saved session ????
And the Partner of the Channel is crached, but the XmitQ of the Channel have always 4 open an messages inside ... i cant remove the massages ....
is it possible to close the opens, without shutting down the QMGR ???
I use MQ 5.2 CSD06G

use can check the what the opprocs using
dis qstatus(xxxx) type(handle) all.
grep with the pid which it displays on the qstatus if your using unix or check in Task manager in windows.
try reset the channels on both ends and try to start. |

dis qstatus wasn't available before 5.3. |

Iam sorry i missied it on MQ5.2.
may be resetting channels would help you. |

Are the channels INDOUBT? If so, then the msgs will be in a prepared transaction on the xmitq. You should restart the channels if you can, so that the channels can resync. If you cannot restart the channels, use the RESOLVE CHANNEL command to either COMMIT the msgs, remove them from the xmitq, or BACKOUT the msgs, to return them to the xmitq, depending on whether the msgs reached the dest queue on the receiving qmgr or not. |
